The personalisation agenda in Social Care means that service users are being given their own personal budgets, effectively becoming individual commissioners. It is predicted that by April 2013, over a million people will have a personal budget.
The opening up of service provision means that artists now have the opportunity to develop and offer services that creatively meet the needs of individuals. This event offers an introduction to personalisation and how to prepare for this growing micro market.

Home is a bold, inventive new dance production that will move through the streets of Birmingham city centre as part of International Dance Festival Birmingham 2012. We are looking for 1000 individuals to contribute towards the creation of, and be involved in, the performances that will take place between 23 April & 13 May 2012.

Writing a Case Study
Wednesday 1st February, 6pm, Mitchell Arts Centre, Stoke-on-Trent
The first event in this year’s programme is a practical, hands on workshop on how to write a case study that effectively communicates your work and its benefits to potential employers. You will need to bring a laptop to write and upload your completed case study to the Praxis website.

The Herbert Art Gallery & Museum in Coventry is committed to welcoming families with child-friendly elements through its galleries and specially designed activities during school holidays. In 2010 we were the Guardian Family Friendly Kids in Museums winner and on the shortlist of four for the Artfund Museum of the Year prize.
We are seeking a concept which will be taken to a final working design using the experienced Herbert project team. We see this potentially as a professional development opportunity and are open to joint development or mentoring if practicalities permit.

Charities Evaluations Services (CES) has recently been awarded a grant from Lankelly Chase to offer a bursary scheme for non-London organisations that fall into one of the categories below, to attend a CES training course. The bursary can be used to attend either a one-day or two-day course. The offer is slightly different depending on whether you book a one or two-day course. The bursary is limited to one course per organisation and terms and conditions apply when booking.

South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to commission four large scale site specific permanent artworks for a new build centre. Expressions of interest are invited from artists for commissions worth between £8k and £6K each. Experience of public art projects is required; experience of working in healthcare settings or at least three years of graduate experience is desirable.

Flipside Black Country are looking to produce a film which can be used to launch the use of MTFC (Multi-Dimensional Treatment Foster Care) across the Black Country. They want our audience of foster carers, professionals and elected members to have a clear understanding of both the process and outcomes of MTFC. They want to engage young people, carers and staff in telling the story in a creative way that engages the audience. They also want to highlight the value of the Black Country Partnership.
